Jenni Schemmel started as Controller at Minster Bank in March 2023 after spending seven years in public accounting, followed by her time at the University of Dayton. She manages the day-to-day tasks in the accounting department to ensure it operates efficiently and effectively while maintaining the reporting requirements, both internally and externally.
After only a couple of months, Schemmel already appreciates the family culture of a community bank, noting, “I only started about two months ago, and I feel like everyone already knows who I am.”
Schemmel appreciates working for a bank that serves her communities and the surrounding areas.
She lives in Fort Loramie with her husband and two young children. When not working at the bank’s corporate office, Schemmel enjoys spending time outside with her kids and golfing with her husband when the weather allows.
“When the weather cools down, we enjoy cheering on the Redskins at high school basketball games,” added Schemmel.
