Employee Spotlight: Ryan David Hammond

Minster Bank CSR Ryan D. Hammond, his wife Kasey, and rescue dog, Rigg.

On a cold Ohio January day, Ryan David Hammond joined the Minster Bank family as a Customer Service Rep in the call center at our corporate location.

It’s been over six months since, and he’s to be found hard at work serving our customers with that friendly smile daily. Ryan handles multiple duties such as online banking, account security, account transfers and more.

Having studied at Gonzaga University, Mount Vernon Nazarene and Wesley Seminary, Ryan now spends his Sundays playing lead guitar on his church’s worship team. An animal advocate who wants to get more involved in supporting his local animal shelter, he and his wife, Kasey, rescued their pup, Rigg, who’s living a happy dog life now!

We asked Ryan what he likes most about working at Minster Bank, and his answer says a lot about the people in this area: “I mostly love the kind, welcoming environment here. People genuinely work with you here, are kind and do their best to help you out, whether you’re new or have been here a long time. They really do care about their customers and employees.”

Ryan has his hands full, but they’re full of helping others. His favorite thing to do when he’s not helping customers is spending time with the ones he loves and taking the time to enjoy life each day. Getting coffee, sharing encouragement and love with Kasey, and enjoying conversation make a full day for Ryan.

Right now, he likes going to movies, playing and listening to music and hopes to take his writing to the next level and become a published author. This youngest of five is glad to be still close to his parents. Married to “his excellent wife,” Kasey, for six years now, they’re only beginning their journey together.

Rigg would like to add, “Woof!”
