Minster Bank is expanding its reach with the groundbreaking of a new branch location in Vandalia.
The official event, which attracted attendees including local trustees and chamber members, took place at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
Minster Bank president and CEO Dale Luebke spoke at the event and presented two checks for $2,500 each to the Dayton Foundation – Greater Dayton Disaster Relief Fund and the Vandalia-Butler VISIONS Education Fund.
“We’re excited to officially break ground, build our roots and continue to support the Vandalia-Butler and Montgomery County areas,” said Luebke.
Representing Butler Township, Trustee Kenneth Betz spoke at the groundbreaking.
The new branch is an endeavor more than seven years in the making since the bank opened its Vandalia Loan Production office in 2011. It will be located at 8530 N. Dixie Highway and is expected to open in summer 2020.
