Convenience and Service

Chris and his brother, Craig, are the third-generation owners of the business.

One reason Chris said he likes Minster Bank is because of the convenience. For example, because they’re located in Botkins, they’re able to save time by using Minster Bank’s remote capture to deposit their checks.

The other main reason for the partnership, Chris said, is the service they receive – particularly from Dan Heitmeyer, vice president of commercial banking

“Dan’s always going above and beyond to take care of any loan issues and help us anytime we have questions,” said Chris. 

Not only does Heitmeyer assist on the commercial side, but he also personally helped Chris work through a loan issue he had. 

“There were some issues with the deed. He spent a lot of time taking care of it for me and getting everything straightened out,” said Chris, adding, “The people at Minster Bank definitely make a difference.”

There was just one thing Chris jokingly said he’d change about Minster Bank: “The only way I’d say they could be better is if they had a branch here in Botkins, but that’s asking for a lot!”
